Hogg Networking is giving back 1% of all sales, not profits, to environmental causes.

ARVADA, CO, UNITED STATES, January 7, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Hogg Networking joined 1% for the Planet, committing to donate 1% of annual sales to support environmental organizations focused on the environment.
Human impacts on the planet through exploitation of natural resources have led to habitat destruction which impacts the world’s native species and reduces biodiversity. Human’s greenhouse gas emissions alongside habitat destruction negatively impact our ecosystem and the world’s creatures. Hogg Networking strives for positive change and is taking action by doing good for the planet we all live on. We are simultaneously helping both people and the planet by donating revenue and our energy to environmental organizations that will make a difference.

Hogg Networking has a world-view that emphasizes global connections positive impacts of communication infrastructure. We also value a strong sense of global citizenship. Hogg Networking recognizes the global nature of the Internet and the benefits it can have for the world. Hogg Networking is continuing our tradition of freely sharing information about Internet protocols and cybersecurity protections. HoggNet will continue its advocacy and evangelism for a free and open Internet for all. We believe that this next step fits in with our overall values and vision for Hogg Networking.

'Currently, only 3% of total philanthropy goes to the environment and, only 5% of that comes from businesses. The planet needs bigger support than this, and our growing network of business members are doing vital work to increase giving and support on-the-ground action. We're excited to welcome Hogg Networking to our global movement,' says Kate Williams, CEO of 1% for the Planet.

By contributing 1% of their annual sales, thousands of 1% for the Planet members have raised over $700 million in funding to support environmental partners around the globe.

Partners are vetted and approved based on referrals, track record, and environmental focus. With over 7,200 environmental partners in the 1% for the Planet network, every member can find and support the causes that matter most to them.
